About artist: Dervla Clarke creates archival quality prints on paper from her original designs. Dervla graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 1994 and has worked in the design field ever ever since. Based in Dublin, Dervla lived for many years in San Francisco, New York and Berlin and draws on the diverse influences from those experiences in her designs. Her prints are made in Dublin using a variety of media and print techniques. All papers she works with are carefully selected sustainable papers. Each individual print is signed by Dervla in her studio. Sustainability is very important to Dervla and each piece is produced with a minimum of waste using eco-friendly printing methods. In her designs, Dervla combines a classic minimalist design approach with a vibrant colour palette. She works alongside husband Jamie as POND Studios, a Design, Photography and Media studio based in Dublin 8. Jamie, a native San Franciscan, is a photographer and musician.
